These images were taken at Lake James in Indiana at my grandparents' house. I love apples and I thought it would be cool to take a picture of it on a tree, since that's where apples grow. I liked how the tree stump looked with the apple on it. The grass in the background was also interesting. The second picture is of apple slices on a plate, and I used the pointillize filter.
These photos are of an easter egg. The first photo was taken at sunset. I really like how the sun was catching the blades of grass at the back of the image, but not the blades of grass at the front. The second photo is of an egg in a wooden bowl, and I used the mezzotint filter. I took this picture because I thought it would be a good hiding spot for an easter egg.
These photos are of a flower. The first image was of the flower in a small glass of water. This is a common way to portray flowers in photography. The second image was of the flower alone, and I used the mosaic filter. I like it because it makes the image look very pixelated.
These photos are of a peep. For the first image, I put the peep in the grass because that's where it would be if it was a real chick. I like how the grass bent from the peep's weight. For the second image I placed the peep in the stem of a growing flower. I used the crystallize filter on this image.
These photos are of a pencil. For the first picture, I photographed the pencil from the end. I liked it because it made the pencil look bigger. I took the second image from the top and I used the color halftone filter. You can't see it as much as the other filters, but it is more pixelated.
